<strong><u>Position Overview:</u></strong></p>
<p>
This position will manage the activities of several PMO Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to ensure consistent, standardized, high-quality project artifacts, as well as the delivery of products/services that meet the needs of the business. They will guide and support these resources throughout the project lifecycle to ensure successful execution of projects and the achievement of business results,</p>
<p>
The Program Manager will work closely with PMO senior leadership to lead strategically-oriented mission-critical projects, while monitoring internal and/or external dependencies as well as ensuring alignment across projects; ensure projects are properly staffed, and that they deliver on their objectives on time and within budget.</p>
<p>
They will functions as the enterprise-wide subject matter expert in Project Management methodology and best practices and be responsible for developing and strengthening HSUS&rsquo;s Project Management capabilities relative to project scope definition and management, project planning and controlling, risks and issues resolution,&nbsp; and financial tracking.</p>

<strong><u>Detailed Responsibilities:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
Assemble, manager, mentor, motivate and lead a team of highly skilled and experienced Project Managers; provide project management resources as needed to PMO projects and initiatives.</li>
<li>
Oversee and support project planning activities and the execution of projects according to plan and intended objectives.</li>
<li>
Manage relationship with project stakeholders, including internal and external partners, keeping stakeholders informed of progress and issues in order to manage expectations on all project requirements and deliverables.</li>
<li>
Develop and maintain comprehensive project management standards, tools, processes and procedures. Uphold and enforce adherence to PMO established methodologies.</li>
<li>
Implement quality assurance processes and procedures to support the PMO&rsquo;s project management function and ensure quality and consistency across all PMO project management deliverables.</li>
<li>
Work to remove, resolve and mitigate barriers, issues and risks that slow or prevent the successful accomplishment of project objectives.</li>
<li>
Set expectations, establish metrics and goals, and perform performance evaluations of PMO Project Managers.</li>
<li>
Liaise with senior management, clients and IT staff to conduct high level investigative studies to seek effective, feasible, and profitable business solutions.</li>
<li>
Utilize their business experience and skills to assess and advise on the practicability of alternatives, marrying up technical limitations with operational realities.</li>
<li>
Establish training and mentoring plans to ensure consistent practices in elicitation and documentation of quality deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.</li>

Has excellent inter-personal skills and is experienced in managing clients/users at a senior level.</li>
<li>
Can demonstrate strong stakeholder management capability to influence the direction and scope of new project requests.</li>
<li>
Has a thorough understanding of all stages of alternative software engineering life cycles for development both within and beyond own organization.</li>
<li>
Possesses a broad knowledge of business and business functions, and understands the significance of commercial constraints. Is able to recognize potential assignments outside own areas of specialization and bring to bear appropriate expertise as necessary.</li>
<li>
Strategic thinker with the ability to deal with complex and ambiguous environments and maintain a business-wide view across a variety of projects, work-streams and time frames.</li>
<li>
Good knowledge of Client&rsquo;s Financial and Operating models, including its business processes, the underlying IT that supports it and its organizational structure.</li>
<li>
Familiar with Business Process Improvement.</li>
<li>
Proficient in Project Management Tools - Automated tools to assist in the project management process, by automating mechanical tasks such as scheduling, resource balancing, and time recording. Examples: PMW, Microsoft PROJECT.</li>
<li>
Proficient with Project Planning and Control Techniques - Methods and techniques associated with planning and monitoring progress of projects. To enable management of large analysis phases such as feasibility</li>

<p>
<strong><u>Qualifications:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>
Bachelor&#39;s degree in related discipline or equivalent experience required</li>
<li>
15 years of proven track record of successfully applying project management controls to manage large-scale global initiatives through all phases of its life-cycle. This should include managing resources, across multiple functions in order to meet project goals.</li>
<li>
IIBA (International Institute of Business Analysis) or PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required.</li>
<li>
Outstanding presentation, communication, and facilitation skills.</li>
<li>
Demonstrated leadership of multidiscipline, high-performance work teams/groups</li>
<li>
Effective at working directly with senior leadership as well as front-line staff.</li>
<li>
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others not under direct supervision.</li>
<li>
Self-motivated, strong attention to detail, and results driven.</li>
<li>
Ability to work in a fast-paced, results-oriented climate; across functional areas and multiple locations.</li>
<li>
Strong project planning capability to direct others in completing quality deliverables and lead project management activity for larger projects.</li>
<li>
Expert in project management methodologies and deliverables including: scope statements, project scheduling, change control, and budget development and forecasting.</li>
<li>
Strong software delivery credentials and proven experience in the software development lifecycle.</li>
<li>
MS Project or equivalent Project management software, MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc)</li>
