Position Overview:

In this critical role, you will work closely with our Compensation & Benefits Director performing a wide variety of activities supporting our Human Resources Information Systems, Benefits Administration, reporting & analysis, compensation analysis and organizational aspects of our HR Department.  Success in this position requires previous experience in Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS), Benefits Administration/Analysis, administration of compensation programs and the ability to organize and prioritize numerous duties. Comfort, tact and clarity in communicating with all levels of employees, are also essential to the success of this role.  The nature of this work requires an awareness of the vital importance of confidentiality and accountability.  This position is located in Stamford, CT.

Detailed Responsibilities:

  • Day to day administration of the company compensation and benefits programs
  • Resolve conflicts with benefit providers for the purpose of verifying eligibility, conveying information and processing claims
  • Reconcile and process invoices ensuring accurate eligibility & payment information & complying with contract provisions
  • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of all data entered into the HRIS (UltiPro)
  • Perform group data updates, exports, imports, clean-ups and research on any data discrepancies
  • Deliver routine daily, weekly and monthly reporting and respond to ad-hoc data requests
  • Provide support for HRIS including but not limited to researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws, and recommend alternate methods to meet process requirements
  • Conduct data analysis on benefits, compensation, classification, employment, employee relations and or as directed
  • Maintain utmost confidentiality throughout all dealings
  • Other duties as assigned

Skills/Requirements

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 5 years of related work experience
  • Experience utilizing HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of current benefit regulations at State and Federal levels (including COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA, ADA)
  • Experience full employee day to day benefits administration (including health, dental, vision, COBRA, 401K etc.)
  • Experience in administering compensation programs for exempt and non-exempt personnel
  • Exceptional computer skills, including HRIS and Microsoft Office Suite

Desirable 

  • Experience using major HRIS system, UltiPro and Oracle preferred
  • Persistence, resourcefulness, drive and ability to work proactively
  • Ability to multitask and respond quickly and professionally to numerous requests
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
  • Strong work ethic and willingness to take ownership for wide-ranging add “of” responsibilities
  • Superior organization and prioritization skills
  • PHR or SPHR certification
