Job Description

The Sarah Neuman Center of The New Jewish Home is seeking  two ( 2)  variable part time Food Service Workers  who will join our team!

Here are the basic functions of the job:

• Setup dining room , steamtable and cold stations for meal service.
• Records food, dish machine, refrigerator and freezer temperatures
• reviews menu spread sheet prior to meal service.
• Serves meals according to diet and written instructions on meal ticket.
• Cleans and sanitizes tables, dishware, equipment and countertops after each meal.
• Maintains adequate quantities of supplies in storage, dates, rotates and discards outdated items.
• Dispose of food and waste in accordance with established policies.
• Follow safety regulations.

Skills/Requirements

• Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
• must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Ability to function in a flexible work environment.
