Patient Account Representative (PAR)
The Patient Account Representative (PAR) reports directly to the PAR Lead and the Director of Accounts Receivable.
Position Summary:
A PAR is responsible for the timely collection and resolution of the accounts receivable for assigned accounts.
Education and/or Other Requirements:
- A minimum of high school graduation or GED is required.
- 2 years front office or medical billing experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, general computer skills.
Responsibilities:
- Possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with clinical staff, corporate personnel, insurance representatives, patients and the public in general.
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast paced environment, maintain goals, and work independently.
- Engage in ordinary physical exertion; light physical effort such as sitting, standing and walking while performing work for sustained periods. Skill, adeptness and speed in finger-hand-arm coordination such as operating office equipment; working at a computer keyboard; or performing repetitive operations resulting in some fatigue
- Work assigned accounts per company policies, state / federal guidelines, and payer requirements.
Salary DOE 14 per hour
