Job Description

SUPERVISES:

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

To perform duties of the centralized “Disclosure Desk”, the team that is responsible for properly and timely sending borrowers all necessary and appropriate disclosures.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  1. Exclusively handle all re-disclosures with borrowers for the company.
  2. Process all inside initial disclosures with borrowers (not outside, on-site loan originators who choose to initially disclose when meeting with the member).
  3. Double-check charges and fees listed on documents by originators, to ensure completeness and accuracy.
  4. Receive training from the Training Department directed at compliance and best practices in disclosures/re-disclosures, and provide feedback to the Training Department, so problem areas can be identified and corrected.
  5. Promote honest and open communication throughout the company.
  6. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the company’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
  7. Work with other departments to ensure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
  8. Other duties as assigned.

 





Skills/Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  1. Expanded knowledge of the disclosure/re-disclosure process (e.g., Change in Circumstance) and forms (e.g.,GFE & TIL).
  2. Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  3. Must have keen attention to detail.
  4. Possess pleasant and professional demeanor.
  5. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
  6. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
  7. Knowledge of Encompass or other LOS system.
  8. 1-3 years of mortgage lending experience.

 

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.

Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time.  Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

 

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other facilities or for training purposes.

 

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

Mortgage lending experience preferred, with concentrated knowledge of origination and processing.
