Job Description

Southwest Cares is Seeking Part/Full Time Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Southwest Cares provides behavioral health care throughout the Southwestern USA. We serve the assisted-living, skilled nursing facility/long-term care, hospital and in-patient geropsych and rehabilitating populations. Southwest Cares is one of the largest private groups of psychologists in New Mexico.

We are seeking independently licensed social workers with extensive clinical training and experience. The available positions are in Durango, CO and Farmington, NM areas and are part/full time with significant potential to grow.

Clinicians work as members of a large and highly supportive professional group of social workers, psychologists, psychiatrists and psychiatric nurse practitioners.

We are committed to tailoring our providers’ individual caseloads to their clinical interests and strengths. Interventions may include short and/or long-term psychotherapy. Psychotherapists also may have the opportunity to provide health-psychotherapeutic interventions. Experience in medical and/or inpatient environments is a plus. Bi-lingual Spanish speaking providers are encouraged to apply.

Southwest Cares provider requirements:

  • Licensed Independent Social Work (LCSW) with comprehensive clinical training/experience. Must be licensed in New Mexico before the provision of clinical services with Southwest Cares
  • Clinical experience with or interest in geriatric/rehab populations
  • Practice liability insurance consistent with state and third party payer regulations
  • Professional peer references at your degree level or higher and background investigation required
  • Curriculum vitae
