Job Description

Qualifications:          Must be able to read, write and speak English.

                                   Great organizational and oral communication skills.

                                   Extensive experience with presentations and in-person communication.

                                   Ability to work independently and meet quota-level goals.

                                   Strong knowlege of rental equipment.

                                   Good understanding of event management

                                   Experience demonstrating the ability to manage multiple projects.

                                   Strong computer skills: proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Powerpoint and Party CAD ver 9

Experience:               Bachelor's degree and 3 years sales experience

Hiring Range:           $35,000 - $40,000 + commission

Classification:           Exempt

Position Summary:   Primarily to sell rental equipment through current relationships and develop new business relationships in the Carolinas and surrounding areas. This position includes but is not limited to the following responsibilities:

Responsbilities:

  • Generating new revenue through closing sales by acquiring new business customers and growing existing customers.
  • Design effective proposals and quotations, and respond in a timely manner to Requests for Proposals (RFP).
  • Practice effective time management for sufficient sales activity.
  • Identify future product and market growth opportunities.
  • Oversee the coordination of sub-rentals and outside vendors when necessary.
  • Develop new business leads through networking.
  • Join professional organizations such as NACE or the International Special Event Society (ISES) to build professional network
  • Adhere to company policies and pricing structure.
  • Cultivate and increase annual rental revenue.
