The Accounts Payable Specialist II is responsible for the management of the approval process for all vendor invoices that are received by FSN. The Accounts Payable Specialist will work closely with internal department as well as maintain relationships with FM’s vendor base in order to process invoices effectively.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Manage the approval process of valid expenses 
• Analysis of the any Audit Rule violations
• Timely and thorough correspondence with vendors
• Develop vendor relationships
• Track improperly executed invoices
• Identify compliance and/or training challenges
• Work with Supervisor and internal FM departments to efficiently implement process improvements
• Responsible for all telephone, fax and email inquiries from vendors regarding A/P issues
• A clear understanding of the organization's and client's policies and procedures
• Ability to consistently direct non-AP functions/inquiries to appropriate departments with FSN

• Ideal candidate will have 3+ years of prior experience with full cycle Accounts Payable
• Mathematical aptitude
• Strong Microsoft Office skills
• Strong attention to detail, problem solving, and time management
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to effectively establish priorities and develop objectives, goals and action plans
• Meet or exceed customer expectations within a fast paced environment
• Strong customer focus, both internal and externalBe self-directed and motivated

Education Requirement

• Associate’s (two year) Degree preferred
