Job Description

The part time, 36 hours per week, Human Resources Assistant will provide support to the human resources team with recruitment, benefit administration, compensation, payroll change processing, leave of absence processing, data reporting, affirmative action and other duties as assigned (approximately 40% of time).  This position will also process all of the professional credentialing of Access Staff (approximately 50% of time).  
 

Hours:  Monday thur Friday from 8 a.m. to 3:15 p.m.

Location:  Access Administrative Offices





Skills/Requirements

Required Qualifications:
1.  Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years human resources experience OR Bachelor's degree in HR or other related field.
2. Experience with Human Resources/Payroll Systems.
3. Experience with applicant tracking systems .
4· Experience with Microsoft Office software and/ or other computer software applications.

Preferred Qualifications:
1.  Experience working in a healthcare setting.
2.  Prior work experience as a Human Resources Assistant.
3.  Previous work experience administering employee benefits.
4.  Previous work experience with medical staff credentialing.
5.  Experience working with ADP Human Resources/Payroll Systems.

Employees who have completed six months of employment or six months from a previous transfer or reclassification, are eligible to apply for a transfer or reclassification. A transfer is defined as a move from one department to another. A reclassification is a job change within the same department. Access encourages and supports the transfer system as a means of realizing advancement with the clinic and adding variety to the work experience for those who qualify.

Employees applying for a transfer are considered along with other applicants and may or may not be selected for the job opening. Employees with a written disciplinary action report may not apply for a transfer until six months following the date the most recent disciplinary action was given.
