JRC is looking for a skilled and insightful Program Analyst, Acquisition to support a DoD contract. The primary responsibility of this role is alignment, coordination, and execution of financial activities in accordance with the Government Program Manager’s guidance. This position will provide financial analysis to support strategic business decision processes of the customer.

Position Description

The Program Analyst, Acquisition will drive program level activities \to meet budget and financial project schedules while maintaining management configuration of all documentation.  This position will require the prioritization of actions, projects, and scheduling, enabling the client to maximize job performance with efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Perform financial planning and execution support services.
  • Program level acquisition planning and strategies, financial summaries and execution reporting. 
  • Learn, understand, and implement Navy Strategic Systems Programs (SSP) business and financial protocols and processes.
  • Gathering financial data from Customer and other Government accounting systems required for the generation of financial summaries and execution reports. 
  • Developing methods, processes and tools for the continual monitoring and tracking of the near-term fiscal health and the long-term fiscal planning.
  • Manage large, multi-organizational budget and financial spreadsheets.
  • Draft financial and programmatic plans that assist the customer in meeting deadlines.
  • Coordinate activities and Action Item status calls to ensure deadlines are satisfied.
  • Identify solutions to financial/budget challenges and develop strategic action plans.
  • Perform document control configuration management functions to ensure documents are developed, reviewed and approved expeditiously.
  • Liaise between customer organizations and the sponsoring government branch.
  • Assist in preparing presentations.




Skills/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum seven years of professional work experience.
  • Obtain and maintain a government security clearance
  • Must have working knowledge of DoD fiscal policies.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with analytical assessment
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
  • Accept ownership of assigned financial areas and meets deadlines on all assigned projects.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities to facilitate the successful workings of program teams
  • Ability to work as a team member, team lead, or independently as the situation may require
  • Proactive change agent with demonstrated experience in identifying process inefficiencies and working with others to provide and assist in implementing innovative solutions
  • Ability to work under high pressure and stressful situations.
  • Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
  • Ability to drive meetings and other exchanges toward quality results, includes exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently while prioritizing and supporting multiple tasks.
  • Strong problem solving, leadership, and time management skills.
  • Effective multi-tasker, able to demonstrate ability to handle changing work assignments, schedules and priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and lead others in a collaborative environment.
