Job Description

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Supervision, support and control of the good development of the instrumentation, control and electricity maintenance activities.
  • Planning, control and execution of the predictive, preventive and corrective maintenance activities of the plant.
  • Elaboration, control and follow-up of work orders, purchase requisitions and services referred to his area of interest.
  • Keep track of the performance of the Electrical equipments and various Instruments. Elaboration of reports, statistics of corrective maintenance, among others.
  • Interact with Maintenance Coordinator, Operations team as regards any maintenance requirement to maintain or improve operational parameters of the plant during regular operations, start-ups and shut-downs.
  • Register the most important activities and events in the log-book.
  • Checking of daily log book of I & E department.
  • Responsible for Instrument Lab and Electrical Room / switchgear / MCC room.
  • During crew changes, supply all the necessary information to the next team to accomplish the objective of the section.
  • Before starting maintenance works, verify that Operations have adequately conditioned the systems to prevent any accident or spills.
  • Identify, report and if possible, correct unsafe conditions.
  • House keeping. Maintain areas in the best possible conditions of Safety, Order and Cleaning.
  • 100% adherence of PM in electrical and Instrumentation.
  • 100% adherence of daily check list and daily follow up with concern.
  • Reports have to be made for any breakdown in electrical / instrumentation.
  • Support Maintenance Coordinator / Plant Manager for data’s to incorporate in monthly reports.
  • Responsible for all the spare parts procurement in I & E department.
  • To maintain the Min-Max of critical I & E spares.
  • Assure that all the work orders are put into Service Manager with used inventory.
  • Identify and report possible training actions for the personnel.
  • Administration and control the proper use of all the resources assigned by the Company to his section. E.g. tools, stationery, etc.
