Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Collect and organize time-sensitive medical records
  • Maintain excellent, communicative relationship with all levels of contacts within provider offices and facilities
  • Manage incoming calls from clients and gather all necessary and required information
  • Maintain and update procedures and participate in departmental project work
  • Support health advisory team to provide exemplary customer service




Skills/Requirements

Job Requirements:
•    Associates Degree in Health Information Technology or related curriculum preferred
•    Customer service oriented with exquisite telephone presentation
•    Working knowledge of release of information state, federal, and local regulations
•    Experience with electronic medical records and scanning; proficiency with Microsoft Office products
•    Must demonstrate excellent written and oral communication skills, astute problem solving skills with the ability to multi-task required
•    Must be detailed oriented with excellent time management skills
•    Strong work ethic with dynamic team environment interaction skills
•    Must be able to adapt to and demonstrate proficiency in new and existing technologies that are integral to performing assigned tasks. Ability to operate office machines (copier, fax, computer, etc.)
