Job Description

The individual in this position is responsible for working with the scheduling team to assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of project schedules. Generally, a four-year degree in engineering or construction management, basic knowledge of construction, including terms and basic sequencing is preferred, good verbal and written communication skills,   good working knowledge of Microsoft computer applications, and experience with Primavera scheduling software is preferred. The individual in this position will train in our South Burlington, Vermont location, until a project location has been assigned anywhere from Maine to Florida.

Schedule

  • Assist in the development of schedules for estimating, as requested.
  • Assist in developing project schedules for Business Development that will be submitted with the proposals.
  • Assist the scheduler with the development, maintenance, and updating of individual project schedules, including the development of baseline reviews.  
  • Assist with the development of network logic diagrams, bar charts, and schedule reports for project schedules, as required, to support the project management teams, Estimating, and Business Development.
  • Backup the project schedule.
  • Assist with resource and cost-loading the project schedule based on project requirements.
  • Keep progress up-to-date in the project schedule.
  • Assist with monitoring the procurement and submittal schedule portion of the project schedule.
  • Assist the Superintendent in creating a short-term look ahead schedule.
  • Attend the scheduling portion of Project Reviews, as required.

Job Budget and Cost

  • Assist the Project Manager with the preparation of estimates-to-complete and cash flow projections for cost-loaded schedules.

Accounts Receivable

  • Assist as required in developing the schedule of values with the guidance of the Project Manager and estimators for cost-loaded schedules.
