ISG Technology, LLC is looking for an experienced Regional Vice President of Sales to join our team in St. Louis, MO.

The Regional Vice President of Sales is responsible for revenues and execution of ISG’s sales plan.  The primary objective of the role is to manage, maintain, and improve the sales function in the region. To develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals.  The Regional Vice President of Sales will supervise staff as noted above; responsible for overall direction of sales and resulting revenues to ISG.  Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints, resolving problems and profitably managing the sales function.  This position reports to VP Sales of ISG and has primary working relationships with the local professional services manager and team, marketing department, VP of Services, VP of Operations, Controller, VP of Strategy, and VP of Data Center Services (DCS).

Our Regional Vice President of Sales will primarily be responsible for the following duties:

  • Work very closely with Marketing Department to develop customer demand and lead generation
  • Directly responsible for the region’s revenue
  • Develop plans and strategies for developing business and achieving the company’s sales goals
  • Manage the sales team and resources to deliver profitable growth
  • Oversee incentive programs that motivate the sales team to achieve their sales targets
  • Coordinate sales training programs that enable staff to achieve their potential and support company sales objectives
  • Manage quotas, pipelines and sales account activity for area sales representatives
  • Ensure sales activity is properly documented in Connectwise
  • Manage certain accounts directly if deemed necessary by VP of Sales
  • Keep up to date on vendor programs and pricing to ensure appropriate pricing
  • Follow our vendor/partners “rules of engagement”
  • Exceed customer expectations and contribute to a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Hire and develop sales staff
  • Effectively coach and performance manage the team
  • Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting
  • Establish infrastructure and systems to support the success of the sales function
  • Compile information and data related to customer and prospect interactions
  • Monitor customer, market and competitor activity and provide feedback to supervisor
  • Work closely with the marketing department to establish successful channel and partner programs
  • Manage key customer relationships and participate in closing strategic opportunities
  • Attend meetings with customers and partners and to develop key relationships
  • Other duties as assigned

COMPUTER SKILLS:  To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software; Word Processing software; WebEx and Email Communications software.

EDUCATIONAL/WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or equivalent combination of education and experience would be desired
  • 3-5 years of sales management experience a plus but not mandatory
  • Experience successfully developing and building a sales management organization
  • Excellent relationship building skills
  • National or regional sales leadership experience with a technology firm preferred
  • Knowledge of CRM software
  • Ability to travel throughout ISG locations throughout Missouri
  • Proven track record of successfully selling advanced technology solutions.
