Construction Project Administrator – Washington

Position Summary:   
This position is based in  Tukwila, WA and provides administrative support to the Project Team for activities associated with Sabey’s construction projects.  Successful candidate needs to have a background in construction administration and enjoy the challenge of acting as liaison between Seattle, NYC and Ashburn as well as the other construction sites.  

Primary Responsibilities:   

  • Prepare contract documents including the following:

-         Subcontracts & Change Orders

-        Material Supply Agreements

-        Professional Service Agreements

-        Purchase Orders

-        Close-Out Documents

·        Update Monthly Cost Reports

  • Attend construction meetings, take minutes and distribute as directed.
  • Process Timecards- Weekly/Salary
  • Responsible for various tracking logs
  • Schedule and organize complex activities such as meetings, travel, conferences and department activities.
  • Answer telephones; forward calls and/or take messages as appropriate.
  • Prepare, track, and distribute all mail and packages.   
  • Maintain filing system and order office supplies.
  • Collaborate and communicate with a wide range of professionals both internal and external to the organization to ensure success of each project.  

 

Position Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 2 plus years of related experience in commercial construction administrative support 

·         Proficiency with Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Internet Explorer. Expedition/Contract Manager.

·        Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

·        Strong decision making, problem solving and creative thinking skills a must.

  • Must be detail oriented with the ability to maintain a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and attention to detail.

·        Ability to remain calm and professional when faced with tight deadlines. 

·        Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.

·        Demonstrate commitment to continuous learning.
