Hours will be 12 pm-5 pm; 7pm – 10 pm Monday – Friday with on call and some Saturday evenings. Must be in the office from 12pm-5pm and then has possibility to work remote.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

This position will be responsible for operation of mainframe and processing of core applications/schedules for the credit union as well as Solution Center duties and other tasks as scheduled.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Perform all periodic (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, month-end, year-end, etc. processing.

2. Provide Solution Center phone/technician support.

3. Perform regular CORE/UNIX System updates.

4. Perform nightly Check21 file processing

4. Follow operating manual instructions and monitor the UC4 System to verify processes complete properly.

5. Monitor/repair other automated processes

6. Monitor availability of all ATM, connected networks and communication links during shift. Address outage and communicate to team.

7. Maintain proper security measures and procedures to prevent unauthorized access.

8.  Communicate hardware repair/maintenance needs

9.  Maintain logs of maintenance activity and job failures within the UC4 job Documentation Tab.

10.  Actively communicate results of processing activities.

11.  Promotes honest and open communication throughout the credit union.

12.  Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.

13.   Work with other credit union departments to ensure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.

14. Responsible for small project management.

15. Perform other duties as assigned.





Skills/Requirements

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Strong knowledge of computer operations, systems, and software.

2. Must have good analytical skills and numerical aptitude.

3. Must be able to visually distinguish color.

4. Must be detail oriented with ability to maintain and organize workloads.

5. Must be able to maintain highly confidential information.

6. Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal forms .

7. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.

8. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.

9. Must be able to be bonded.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 50 pounds from time to time. Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach or stand for extended periods of time. Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment and may have to travel for visits to other credit union facilities or for training purposes. Each month end will require availability to work a double shift lasting throughout the night. Overtime will be expected to be worked as needed.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent is required. One or more years of Information Systems experience preferred.
