Job Description

The Regional Director, Operations leads a cross functional team dedicated to providing efficient, effective and on time service to a region within a major client.  The role is responsible for its region’s operational performance against plan.  By ensuring the client expectations are met, while managing to the operational budget, the role will enable the organization to continue to grow in a sustainable and profitable manner while achieving a high level of customer satisfaction. The role oversees a team that develops partnerships with local client / franchise point people, identifies, onboards and creates strong partnerships with service providers, delivers high quality customer service/dispatch and quality and manages parts delivery and installation.

Define key business processes and their requirements and work to roll out in order meet client key performance indicators (KPI); provide support to the field and interact with internal and external customers.

Lead and enforce Vixxo and client Health and Safety Programs and Initiatives.

Effectively manage clients’ facility maintenance by clearly articulating business drivers, our maintenance processes and industry wide best practice concepts with executives and decision makers.

Develop strategic partnership with key client and service provider stakeholders.  Participate in designing new programs and approaches to solving maintenance challenges.

Coach, develop and create culture and hold regional teams accountable for meeting client requirements through clear communication of job expectations and ensuring a strong understanding of client needs.

Manage team to successfully mitigate disputes, onboard new store acquisitions, accurately support capital management databases and ensure preventive maintenance performance/verification programs are timely and effective.

Participate in corporate events that cultivate relationships with a broader client team including franchisees.

 

Skills/Requirements
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in a fast paced operations management role.
  • Minimum of five (5) years managing people including coaching and performance management.
  • Proven business, financial and analytical acumen
  • Interpret data to drive business decisions
  • Proven relationship building skills required in order to create, maintain and enhance customer relations.
  • Previous experience managing multi-site programs.
  • Demonstrated record of successfully leading and driving change in a dynamic environment.
  • Focus on process improvement
  • Experience fostering relationships at all levels.  Experience with senior executive relationship management preferred.
  • Knowledge of real estate and facilities management preferred.
