Plumbing Foreman

MCC is looking for a Commercial Mechanical Foreman specializing in the areas of hotels, hospitals, and institutional facilities.

Responsibilities for the HVAC / Plumbing Foreman are:

Totally accountable for quality installation of the project
Reviewing submittals for accuracy and compliancy
Identifying potential change orders
Customer relations
Conduct weekly safety meetings
Attend cost/job reviews
Schedule manpower and also responsible for hiring workers
Interpret plumbing and HVAC drawings for craft installation
Plan, schedule, and coordinate on-site functions
Perform material take-offs, ordering tools, materials, and equipment in a timely fashion to maximize field productivity
Coordination of installation between trades and coordinate sub-contractor progress
Ensure all on-site employees comply with OSHA standards & MCC work rules
Schedule equipment deliveries with GC and periodic inspections by governing authorities
Administer construction contract
Monitor labor reporting, job cost reviews and prepare time sheets and two week look a heads
Bring the job in 'on time and under budget

5-10 years verifiable experience as an HVAC and Plumbing Superintendent and state HVAC and plumbing license
At least 5 years experience in LARGE ($20M+) commercial construction (hotels, office buildings, hospitals, casinos, etc.)
Proven leadership and supervisory skills
Team Player
Organizational and planning skills
Must be detailed oriented
At least 6 months of safety training
Other state licenses a plus
