We are currently seeking a Survey CAD Technician to join our Survey Department in our Ashburn, VA office location.

Essential duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

Drafts subdivision plats
Drafts topographical surveys and creates surfaces for design surveys
Experience in boundary calculations
The ability to compute, process and map field data.
Must be able to obtain and hold a federal security clearance.
Candidate will work in a drug free environment and will have to submit to an initial screening.
Prepare civil and structural computations for construction layout

Education and/or Experience

SI or PLS in Virginia is a plus.
High school diploma/GED and five (5) years of survey experience.
Leica Robotic Total Stations and RTK GPS units experience preferred.
Ability to collect field data in an organized, neat and professional manner for various boundary, topographic, design and construction staking projects.
AutoCAD Civil3D experience required. Microstation experience is a plus.
A valid VA driver license and a good driving record required.
Must be willing to work overtime hours as needed to get work completed.
