Position Description

E3 is seeking a Policy Analyst to support a contract for a Department of Homeland Security / Transportation Security Administration (TSA) customer. The ideal candidate for this position should have five years of experience, preferably at TSA. Experience with the Office of Security Policy and Industry Engagement is preferred, but not required. If selected for this position, the candidate will a variety of assignments related to the development and revision of TSA programs, policies, and policy amendments. The candidate will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, advising, and recommending content for policy documents and other related policy material. Specific responsibilities will include: o Serving as a fully contributing specialist on analytical and evaluative work concerning transportation security policy o Performing different phases of planning, analyzing, formulating, justifying, presenting, executing, and reviewing policy regulations, directives, and laws pertaining to transportation security programs o Serving as a team member on special projects or studies o Collecting and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data regarding security operations and assessing the effect of potential changes on program policies o Supporting completion of tasks relating to policy development or policy changes / revisions o Creating reports, briefings, or memoranda for reporting and presentation purposes o Experience with iShare/Sharepoint (designing and maintaining sites and lists) o Ability to manage and monitor progress on multi-step processes

BA/BS degree Five years of experience Strong communications and analytical skills Ability to quickly understand direction, work independently, and perform in a highly visible and fast-paced environment
