Job Description
MCC has an immediate need for a Pipe Fitter in our Long Beach Fabrication Facility, to work on pipe spools for commercial mechanical projects ranging from office buildings and hotels to hospitals and institutional facilities. The ideal applicant will have experience in laying out, assembling, installing, and maintaining plumbing systems, and pipe supports.
Skills/Requirements
- Ability to read spool sheets and select type and size of pipes, and related materials and equipment according to drawings.
- Experience in assembling and installing steel pipe and fittings.
- Skilled in connecting pipes using threaded and groove joints and fitting/tracking joints.
- Previous fabrication shop experience a plus.
