Job Description

The Implementation Specialist is responsible for deploying Payment Suite of products at higher education institutions in the US, which includes:

  • Play lead role in setup and testing of our Payment Suite products.
  • Play an active role in the “go-live” operation for remote installations.
  • Assist with onsite customer setup and training classes (up to 25% travel).
  • Learn customer business processes and recommend best practices.
  • Provide superior customer service.
  • Maintain all project documentation.




Skills/Requirements

  • Experience deploying software applications
  • Experience in making presentations and training end users how to use/configure software applications
  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of the following technical disciplines: Network troubleshooting, SQL, file transfer protocols, HTML, and XML.
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Office suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Outgoing professional personality with good presentation, written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, is a team player and a self-starter
  • Bachelor’s Degree in business, engineering, computer science, or 4 years work experience in software deployment or support.

Desired Characteristics:

  • Experience with online payment systems.
  • Understanding of fundamental accounting principles.
  • Familiarity with the organization and structure of college and university ERP and operations.
  • Experience with higher education vendors such as PeopleSoft, CBORD, Datatel, Ellucian, or Jenzabar
