Job Description

Sacramento's premier pediatric dental practice is looking for a RDA Back Office Manager to join our awesome team!

The Essential Job Elements

  • Liaison between doctors and Area Manager or Patient Experience Leader
  • Train and mentor all new clinical staff
  • Provide feedback to Area Manager on performance issues of all employees reporting to them
  • Regular reporting to Area Manager
  • Order and maintain dental supplies in a cost effective manner according to defined budgets
  • Prepare treatment area for patient by following proper procedures and protocols
  • Prepare patient for dental treatment by welcoming, comforting and seating patient
  • Assist the doctors during treatment procedures
  • Perform dental infection control procedures
  • Take x-rays
  • Educate patients about oral hygiene and their child’s oral health
  • Perform all lab related procedures
  • Perform cleanings
  • Hand off patient at check -out
  • Complete care calls and thank you cards
  • Document dental care services by charting in patient records
  • Ensure strict compliance with all company policies and pertinent laws and regulations (HIPAA, OSHA, ADA, Dental Board, etc…)
  • Maintain safe and clean working environment
  • Other duties as assigned
