Associate Scientist - ISO Chemistry

Ann Arbor, MI

Responsible for day-to-day duties carreid out by the Reference Material Production lab – authoring documents, executing production protocols, instrument operation, and order fulfillment.
Perform standard operating procedures as required by production demands.
Assist in the development of new products.
Must be a strong team player willing to participate in group projects and share duties.
Must be able to multi-task between projects and remain organized.
Responsible for entry of necessary data into controlled documents and database system in a timely fashion.

Bachelor of Science in Chemistry.
Up to 2 years of lab experience.
Candidate must have the ability to prioritize tasks and work in a structured environment, both under supervision and autonomously when needed.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively.
Candidate must be able to expand breadth of skills and duties through training and guidance.
Attention to detail, good organizational skills and ability to do general lab calculations are a must.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and assist in job duties desired.
Experience working in an audited quality management environment (ISO 9001, ISO 17025, GMP, GLP, etc.) not required, but a plus.
