Primary Purpose of the Position:

This position is responsible for generating profitable sales growth within our email marketing program through the accurate and timely execution of all marketing emails sent for MAG Retail brands.

Reports to:

     Director of Customer Relationship Management, MAG Retail Group

Department:

    Marketing

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  • Email Marketing Execution
  • QA
  • Email Reporting

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own email execution for MAG Retail after creative assets are built.  This includes HTML coding, render testing, link tracking, and overall quality control of each email.
  • Ensure segmentation is correct.
  • Execute testing plan.
  • Create tracking.
  • Ensure emails are accurate inclusive of images, links and tracking.
  • Report on email results.

Educational and Experience Requirements:

An Associate’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field combined with 0-2 years of directly related experience is required for this position. 

  • Experience with an ESP such as Exact Target (preferred), Silverpop, or Cheetah Mail.
  • Process orientated with strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Experience with web analytics tools such Google Analytics, Web Trends, or Site Catalyst a plus.
  • Experience with Excel
  • Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision.
  • Basic knowledge of motorcycle parts and accessories a plus.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the team member is regularly required to sit for extended periods of time; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.  The team member frequently is required to walk and occasionally required to stand.  The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.  Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
