Position Summary: As experts in IONM, we take pride in partnering with hospitals and surgeons to obtain and analyze critical information during selective surgeries which place neural structures at risk.  The information we provide allows surgeons to intervene immediately to mitigate problems that may otherwise go undetected until after completion of the surgery.  We provide a full range of intraoperative monitoring services including SSEP, TcMEP and EMG as well as twelve advanced modalities, such as Auditory Brain Response, Cortical Mapping and Peripheral Nerve.

Training: We provide an outstanding training program for people entering the field as well as advanced skill development for experienced clinicians. Skills/Requirements

Success Profile: CNIM eligibility is required as defined by ABRET. Bachelors, Masters, or PhD Degree in the life sciences is preferred – neuroscience, biology, bio-engineering, audiology, etc. Training in human anatomy, physiology and physics is important. The desire to have a career in healthcare and patient care is essential.

Ideal personal characteristics are: The ability to work independently, be self-motivated, have a strong desire to learn, the ability to keep up with fast paced and independent learning, be service-oriented, be adept at interacting with surgeons and/or staff, and be comfortable with equipment and technology. Flexibility is necessary due to short term notice of the next day’s work schedule, variations in daily start and end times, different hospital locations and some travel to different cities, which includes some overnight travel.
