Job Description

Kids Care Dental is seeking an experienced Ortho Treatment Coordinator with a strong sales background that will make an impact to our offices. This position requires prior Orthodontics experience.

The Essential Job Elements

  • Daily management orthodontic operations including scheduling, patient flow, collecting copays, posting of procedures, insurance verification, answering phones, interacting with families, patient followup, in-office marketing, etc.
  • Resolves problems by clarifying the issues involved; researching and exploring answers and providing alternative solutions
  • Ensure that Kids Care Awesome Service delivery is met with each patient
  • Manage the flow of patients as they transition between back and front offices
  • Supports the Claims and Payments department by ensuring that the company’s financial policies are accurately executed and that all commitments are being met on time
  • Resolve all customer complaints and/or billing questions to the customer’s satisfaction
  • Continually audit contracts, fees, acceptance ratios and strive for continuous improvement of the processes, providing accurate metrics of KPIs
  • Maintain clear and concise communication and create strong relationships between the ortho, pedo and oral surgery business lines
  • Other duties as assigned




Skills/Requirements

  • 2 years previous orthodontic treatment coordinating experience
  • Clear understanding of orthodontic mechanics, terminology, insurance codes and scheduling coupled with excellent customer service skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong demonstrated leadership skills with affinity for mentoring others
  • Excellent communication and computer skills (Dentrix a plus)
  • “Can do” attitude with problem solving skills
  • Upbeat personality is a MUST
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
