Job Specific Responsibilities
Goodwin House Alexandria, located in Alexandria, VA is seeking an experienced RMA who has a strong desire to help the elderly, and who will join us as we embark on our journey of Creating Home.
The RMA position is primarily responsible for administering medication to residents, providing direct clinical nursing care for residents within realm of certification, and offering senior-level clinical support to professional nursing staff. Position also performs various resident care activities and non-licensed services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of residents.

Skills/Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited CNA training course with minimum one year CNA experience.
• Completion of an accredited medication aide training course required.
• Must be certified as RMA and be current with mandatory annual update class.
• Must successfully complete an in-house demonstration of administering medication.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with others.
• Computer skills required.
