Mortgage Processor - TruHome

GENERAL FUNCTIONS:

This position is responsible for the compilation of all documentation necessary to garner approval on conventional first mortgage loans.    

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

1. Previous processing experience is required of at least three years.
2. Responsible for delivery of exceptional service levels during the processing of the mortgage loans, to both the member and the client. Survey results to be at company’s standards at 95.00%.
3. Ability to handle a case load of 35-40 loans of all loan types with minimal assistance.
4. Demonstrate behaviors that are consistent with the credit union’s values, philosophies, and leadership characteristics.
5. Work with other departments to insure the workflow or process is providing the best service to the members.
6. Promotes honest and open communication throughout the credit union and with our clients.
7. Perform other duties as assigned.
8. Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain strict confidentiality.
9. Flexible to work extended hours during heavy workload periods.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1. Strong knowledge of mortgage lending processes and practices.
2. Strong attention to detail.
3. High level of customer service skills.
4. Ability to handle multiple tasks. 
5. Ability to communicate effectively in writing and orally.
6. Ability to resolve interpersonal conflict and miscommunications.
7. Knowledge of spreadsheet software and ability to use word processing software.
8. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
9. Must be able to be bonded.

PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES:

In this position, individual will be expected to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time.  Also, must be able to stoop, bend, reach, or stand for extended periods of time.  Must be able to sit and use a computer for extended periods of time.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position is expected to work in general office environment.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least three years Mortgage Lending experience.  High school diploma or equivalent required.
