Job Description: Our Scanner will be a valuable member of our Accounts Payable team, responsible for tagging and scanning financial documents using Kwiktag. We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills who can own the scanning process from beginning to end, including, but not limited to: collecting, verifying, organizing and maintaining all paperwork. He or she will also be responsible for timely communication with department heads to ensure retrieval of all paperwork related to the receipt of merchandise.
Our ideal candidate will be an upbeat and flexible addition to the AP team, who can adapt to changing day-to-day responsibilities, is excited to learn and grow in the profession at Eataly and has a strong interest in food and education.
Duties and Responsibilities:
--Maintains a computerized filing system involving past, current and future invoices.
--Assesses existing invoices, noting and correcting problems through communication with Eataly managers, buyers and suppliers as needed.
--Updates receiving and vendor information when necessary; maintains an extremely organized and accurate filing system.
--Strong Microsoft Excel and computer skills – the ideal candidate must be comfortable with the entire Microsoft Office Suite and data entry programs.
--Extremely strong communication and organizational skills, with the initiative to track down needed information without prompting from supervisors.
--The flexibility and willingness to adjust his or her work schedule to suit urgent, last-minute tasks.
--Critical thinking skills, including a willingness to ask questions and seek out what is needed to deliver a product.
