This position is responsible for the flattening and testing of the completed heat exchange assembly prior to final inspection. This position is also responsible for Material Handling duties for the department.
Conduct various testing procedures as described in OMS on completed product assemblies. SC: A sufficient number of coolers are tested daily and support the overall flow of material through the process.
Maintain an acceptable level of performance. SC: Indirect by Direct %: Less than 13%. SC: Quality: Quarterly rejection rate of less than 5,000 ppm.
Proper identification of tested products.
Straighten and flatten completed core assemblies to the required specifications.
Comply with all of the ISO 9001 Quality standards, policies and procedures of API Heat Transfer. SC: Work area is cleaned and organized. SC: Complies with all safety requirements. SC: Work is complete in compliance to all related procedures and work instructions.
Comply with all API Heat Transfer policies related to acceptable work place behavior.
This opening is on our 2nd shift. The hours are from 3PM-11:30 PM. Qualified candidates must pass a pre-employment drug screen and physical.

Education and Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Qualified to perform the essential functions of the job per the pre-employment physical.
A minimum of 20/30 vision, uncorrected or corrected.
