E3 Federal Solutions (E3), a leader in acquisition management, project management, and financial management solutions for the federal government, has an opportunity with a federal client in support of their Financial requirements. Since its inception in 2004, E3 has supported numerous federal agencies with their mission requirements by working closely to help define requirements, develop sound acquisition strategies, justify budget requests, and track project execution.
We are interviewing for Junior Financial Analysts to support our client for an upcoming opportunity. The ideal candidate for this position should have direct onsite government experience and experience supporting financial activities in the federal government.
This position is contingent on award of contract.
Track commitments, obligations, and outlays in relation to cash flow.
Track expenditures in approved funds tracker.
Assist in performing cost benefit evaluations of current or projected spending plans.
Assist with the collection and evaluation of agency financial data and other information concerning agency expenditures and revenues to determine budget requirements.
Assist with track and analyzing the Program, Planning, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) cycle as it relates to the operating budget.
Assist with the reporting on all funding aspects of Defense Travel System (DTS) in coordination with records and requirements.
Assist with the development and maintenance of auditable records and tracking system.
Research and assist with liquidating un-liquidated obligations for up to five prior years in support of the Tri-Annual Review process.
Assist with the development and execution and obligation briefings.
Description of Requirements, Skills, & Certifications
Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field of study required.
3+ years of experience providing budget or financial support services to the federal government highly desired.
1+ years of DoD budget or financial experience highly desired.
Experience with data extraction and analysis of various financial databases.
Experience with financial tracking.
Experience with industry-standard financial tools and systems.
Strong communication skills and ability to establish a rapport with clients and colleagues.
Strong writing skills.
Ability to perform analysis and research relative to specific tasks.
