Job Description

Kane's is offering an outstanding (entry-level) opportunity for a talented individual who has expertise in search engine optimization strategies and web technology.

The SEO Specialist and Web Administrator is an integral part of the marketing and technology team, and will be the driver behind creating content for website promotion, social marketing, and other online communications.

Key Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Coordinate and/or manage the web and online initiatives through web design, development and content.
  • Implement web metrics programs to analyze website performance against goals towards improving the website.
  • Analyze websites in detail to identify on-page and off-page issues faced by Company and competitors.
  • Identify and implement innovative SEO techniques.
  • Perform content maintenance and updates.
  • Test and track landing page optimization and other conversion strategies.
  • Perform maintenance and updates to existing websites.
  • Contribute to the overall user-orientated interface regarding graphics and overall online communications.
  • Contribute to the process of information design, to ensure that content is appropriately structured to meet the goals for the site and the needs of users.


The Ideal Candidate will have:

  • A minimum of 2 years of related experience in search engine optimization with proven ability to achieve top search engine rankings.
  • Knowledge of best practices for organic search engine optimization including knowledge of search engine spiders and search engine ranking factors.
  • Experience in HTML, Java Script, ODBC and SQL preferred.
  • Knowledge of full Google Analytics toolset. Additional Web metrics tools experience.
  • Understanding of best practice search engine optimization strategies and tactics.Knowledge of website administrative tools.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills to include excellent written and grammatical skills in English.
  • Effective presentation, time management and organizational skills.
  • The ability to effectively manage multiple projects/tasks/responsibilities to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects concurrently.
  • Bachelor of Science degree is preferred but not required.
