As a Financial Reporting Analyst, you will prepare internal cash financial statements and ensure accurate reporting of financial information in compliance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) and other regulatory and legal requirements.

 

In this role, you will:

  • Prepare internal cash financial statements, including cash EBITDA forecasts and analysis. Assist in automating the preparation of associated reporting.
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of the company’s financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and financial reporting standards, including cash-based management reporting.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements, schedules and management reporting packages.
  • Prepare management and Board presentations.
  • Support financial accounting and reporting activities, including preparing detailed supporting documentation for significant transactions.
  • Participate in activities related to quarterly reviews and annual audits.
  • Participate in administration of the company’s equity compensation plans.
  • Proactively research and drive the timely resolution of complex accounting matters and the implementation of new US GAAP accounting and financial reporting standards.
  • Ensure accounting accuracy and compliance with regulations, standards and company policy by continuously reviewing company practices, policies and reporting.
  • Perform miscellaneous month-end closing duties as assigned.

 

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required.
  • CPA designation preferred.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including financial reporting duties.
  • “Big 4” accounting experience desired.
  • Technology industry experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP, including related experience with technical accounting research and application.
  • Sound knowledge of financial reporting and Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) requirements.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, internal customer service, analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively manage and multi-task critical projects within established deadlines.
  • Ability to work cooperatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees, management and external parties to maximize performance, creativity, problem-solving and results.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint).
  • Equity Edge system experience desired.
  • Ability to operate independently to produce creative and practical solutions from general direction.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, constantly-changing environment.
