Software Development Engineer in Test

As a Software Development Test Engineer, you will validate that business and functional requirements are implemented according to design documentation and standards. Lead automation projects, use software test automation, methodology and tools to help provide quality.

Job Requirements Update:
In this role, you will:
  • Develop complex testing frameworks and automation strategy.
  • Write automated GUI and API tests based on user stories (requirements).
  • Write test cases and test plans.
  • Write, maintain, and execute automated tests for products and services accross multiple OS and browsers.
  • Lead and manage complex automation projects. Supervise, mentor, train, and influence inside of the group.
  • Make decisions on tool and technology use.
  • Actively participate in co-creation of product features.
  • Perform requirements analysis, and collaborate in design and code review sessions.
  • Work in an agile environment with rapid deployments.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Do you have what it takes?
  • Five to seven (5-7) years of development or testing experience preferred.
  • Proven track record of helping test and ship products with high quality and performance.
  • Experience working in agile team setup with aggressive schedules.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills along with strong team skills are required.
  • Proven design, implementation, and troubleshooting skills is required.
  • Solid understanding of software testing principles required.
  • Solid understanding of at least one development language required.
  • Solid understanding of automation design patterns required.
  • Basic understanding of Structured Query Language (SQL) required.
  • Basic understanding of protocols such as HTTP, FTP, TCP and IP required.
  • Basic understanding of Internet browsers, Windows GUIs, and mobile devices required.
  • Basic understanding of advanced programming concepts preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related degree preferred.
  • Associate’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
