We are currently looking for a Financial Analyst to join our team. The responsibilities of this role are as follows:

  • Tracks financial status of various functional departments by monitoring variances from plan
  • Provides information to management by assembling and summarizing data; preparing reports; making presentations of findings, analyses, and recommendations
  • Maintain policies and procedures for internal and external reporting and make suggestions for continuous improvement
  • Prepare short and long-term financial forecasts of financial performance for use with internal management and external parties
  • Leader in global budgeting process for designated functional areas
  • Support Treasury function with cash flow forecasting
  • Prepare financial modeling for potential mergers and acquisitions
  • Proactively communicate progress and/or issues to management
  • Results-driven and accepts responsibility for individual performance and contributions to team projects
  • Reports to Director of Finance

Skills/Requirements

  • 4+ years experience in financial analysis and financial planning
  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field strongly preferred, or equivalent experience. MBA or CPA is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with all aspects of corporate accounting and all pertinent GAAP including software revenue recognition
  • You must have experience with all key areas mentioned.  M&A experience preferred but not required
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel and ability to create and analyze complex financial models, including forward forecasting model
  • You must have a passion for completing tasks timely, and an appreciation for details.  All deliverables must be accurate, timely, and professional in appearance
  • You must believe in continual process improvement, but you must be ready to jump in to handle fires as they occur
  • Appreciation for interaction of various financial systems and desire to learn systems in order to maximize efficiencies and improve quality of reporting
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with all levels of the company, from entry level employees to executive management
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment backed with the enthusiasm to meet and/or exceed deadlines and expectations
  • Must effortlessly treat all employees with utmost respect at all levels of the organization
