The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for building out the suite of automated regression tests for the Company’s software suite. Responsibilities include assisting in the implementation of a test automation platform, migrating existing tests to the new platform and developing new tests to address areas of the product that are not yet covered.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Helping drive the Automation strategy throughout the Engineering organization
Build out a test suite to cover automated smoke, regression and functional tests
Writing system and feature-based test plans from architectural functional specifications
Manually executing complex test plans with an understanding of how to build new coverage into the existing Automation test suite
Collaborate with development organization to understand how development changes affect ongoing Automation efforts
Provide test coverage analysis based on automation results
BS or MS Degree in CS/EE or equivalent
Minimum 2 years’ experience with scripting languages used in Test automation
Linux/Unix operating system knowledge
Familiarity and/or experience with QA Automation Tools (Selenium preferred)
Understanding of relational databases and SQL querying tools
Experience with white-box testing techniques
Excellent written and communication skills
