Job Description

Tactical marketing role with responsibility for on-page SEO, link building, Search Engine Results Pages (SERP) and Pay-Per-Click (PPC.) Responsible for developing ongoing SEO strategies, performing competitor analysis, and project management. Works with sales and marketing teams to ensure site pathways are developed and reinforced to lead to self-identification of qualified prospects.

Key accountabilities:

  • Grow and manage our online presence by optimizing our keywords portfolio, online ads, landing pages, bidding strategies, negative keywording, etc.
  • Develop and post search engine optimized website page content using CMS (Drupal)
  • Track, report, and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.
  • Stay current with new advances in search engine marketing and the competitive landscape.

Key duties:

  • Monitor, track, and report on paid search metrics, including trend analysis.
  • Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.
  • Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery and expansion.
  • Research and analyze competitor advertising links.
  • Develop and implement back link strategy.
  • Identify and maintain directory submissions and revisions.
  • Perform internal link optimization.
  • Stay up to date on the latest industry developments.


  • Minimum 2 years SEO experience required.
  • Experience managing PPC campaigns across Google, Yahoo, and Bing required.
  • Web analytics experience with Google Analytics required, experience with Marketo and or similar desirable.
  • Experience with developing and posting content using Drupal.
  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills required.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously, work within a marketing team, and other departments.
  • Must be able to take initiative and manage projects with minimal daily direction.
  • Must have outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • Understanding and knowledge of Software and/or Software As a Service market a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a quantitative, test-driven field (economics, market research, science, etc.)
