The domains team is currently hiring Partner Managers to focus on the management of our existing and rapidly expanding number of registry partners.  This role will function as the main point of contact for registry partners and will be responsible for managing their onboarding experience (new registry partners) AND/OR managing the long-term, on-going registry relationship.

 

In this role, you will:

 

  • Provide a well-managed, profitable and growing business produced through relationship excellence and portfolio optimization practices.
  • You will formulate partner, business and product strategies with registry partners and core internal teams (business, marketing, technical, operations). 
  • Develop plans that ultimately deliver an outstanding partner and customer experience while also driving growth and expanding market share are core responsibilities for this role.

 

Do you have what it takes?

 

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.  Must enjoy building relationships and supporting partners with developing and managing strategic business objectives. The ability to interpret partner needs and provide professional, outstanding support is critical.
  • A mix of business strategy, marketing and account development skills
  • Ability to see the big picture and negotiate (when needed) the path to create a win/win results.
  • Strong analytical skills, be incredibly organized, detail oriented and a self-starter.
  • Understanding of domains business a plus, but not required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of management or demonstrated relationship management success/account growth.
  • BS/BA degree.
  • Knowledge of the domains industry and the new domains (gTLD) expansion.
