P2 Energy Solutions is seeking an entry level Account Executive (Sales Rep) who will be responsible to sell Oil & Gas business applications/solutions, primarily the IDEAS product suite and related services to prospective and existing customers. These customers and prospects will primarily be Calgary based (head office) with business operations and production around the globe. Account Executives will be hired into a Sales Trainee Program and will participate in training before inheriting a territory.
Candidates must be flexible and excited about working in a fast paced company; have proven communication and organizational skills; and be willing and able to focus on both internal and external customer service to meet business needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Participate in Sales Boot Camp Training and Trainee Program
Eventually manage a geographic sales territory, effective pursuit prioritization, qualification, pipeline development, opportunity planning, deal forecasting, internal resource allocation, and overall strategic selling
Assist in developing formal Solution Value Assessments for new opportunities
Assist in negotiating pricing and contractual agreement to close the sale
Identify and develop strategic alignment with third party influencers and partners
Travel may be required
Strong Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word skills
Highly developed selling, customer relations and negotiation skills
Ability to penetrate new accounts and meet with key stakeholders and decision influencers
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
Strong presentation skills
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor degree or equivalent
0-2 years field experience in a business software or related field
Knowledge of Upstream oil & gas industry.
