As a  Online Advertising Manager at Go Daddy, you will be responsible for generating traffic and acquiring new customers for GoDaddy.com both domestically and internationally.  The Online Advertising Manager will plan, execute and analyze advertising efforts to meet overall objectives.  Knowledge of direct marketing practices is a plus.  The ideal candidate must be hard working, self motivated, a strong communicator and be comfortable working with, analyzing and presenting data. 

 

In this role, you will:

  • Manage existing corporate partnership relationships as it pertains to advertising, brand placements and other relevant contract terms. 
  • Research and evaluate advertising opportunities domestically and internationally.
  • Quickly execute online advertising campaigns.
  • Gain exposure for Go Daddy in new vertical markets.
  • Negotiate advertising placements to achieve sales of Go Daddy products and services.
  • Plan and develop online marketing recommendations and media plans.
  • Implement and review creative.
  • Test, track, monitor and analyze campaign results.
  • Present data and recommendations to peers and upper-level management.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Do you have what it takes?

  • BS/BA degree in marketing, communications or business. 
  • Direct response advertising experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of ecommerce and internet-based business models.
  • Experience evaluating creative messages, analyzing results and optimizing campaigns.
  • Experience with online advertising, direct marketing, email marketing, and mobile marketing strongly preferred.
  • Experience in negotiating and dealing with outside vendors preferred.
  • Advanced MS Excel experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
  • Candidate must have strong analytical skills, be detail oriented and a self-starter.
