As a strategic Human Resources Business Partner  at Go Daddy, you will align business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The HRBP serves as a consultant to management on Human Resource related issues. A successful HRBP will act as the employee champion and change agent. Communicating needs proactively with our HR department and business management, the HRBP seeks to develop integrated solutions. The HRBP formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value added service to management and employees that reflect the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business units financial position, its mid range plans, its culture and its competition.

 In this role, you will: 

  • Translate business strategies and objectives into HR initiatives and programs partnering with the HR team.
  • Conduct weekly meetings with respective business units.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning to influence strategies to produce desired business outcomes.
  • Provides day to day performance management guidance to line management (coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
  • Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.
  • Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation
  • Builds collaborative, trusting and credible relationships with senior leaders, providing them with expert advice.
  • Coach key business leaders on leading and managing their organizations effectively.
  • May assist int'l employees with expatriate assignments and related HR matters.
  • Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s in business or related field required.
  • Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws.
  • PHR Certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 -5 plus years of the resolution of complex employee relations issues.
  • Ability to plan, organize, analyze and establish priorities to achieve results
  • Must work well under pressure as a self-starter, handling multiple tasks
  • Excellent consulting skills to interact with managers, internal employee contacts and outside vendors/consultants
  • Excellent verbal/written/presentation/facilitation communication skills.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to identify and understand complex issues, analyze and draw conclusions, and determine approaches for choosing and executing an effective course of action.
  • Enthusiastic with high energy and timely responsiveness.
  • Proven ability to build solid, trusting and credible relationships.
  • Experience in performance management, rewards, and recognition.
