Lanyon is looking for a highly motivated and forward thinking Trainer to mentor and train sales representatives in new and existing markets. A major objective of this role will be to manage and deliver the Intensive Sales Training Program based on Solution Selling for all new members of the Sales Team. Other responsibilities include providing continuous improvement of learning opportunities for new and current sales professionals to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the company's sales efforts. This role is critical to our organization as it promotes the development of our most important asset, our talent.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
2-4 years of professional training experience, as a Field Trainer, Learning and Development Specialist, Corporate Trainer, Sales Trainer, or a related title, preferably in a sales environment utilizing Solution Selling
Demonstrated ability to successfully develop and deliver sales training programs utilizing skills in instructional design, program design & development, and training technologies
Strong organizational, planning, project management, problem resolution, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required
Software sales experience preferred
Excellent creative and conceptual thinking abilities
Highly computer literate with in-depth knowledge of MS office and web based systems
