Job Description
Director, Marketing
The leading provider of financial education in the United States, Canada and around the World is seeking a Director of Marketing. The position reports directly to the CEO and offers the successful candidate the opportunity of promotion to Vice President and to join the company's Executive Committee.
The major challenge is transformational. The company seeks to leverage all the advantages offered by online and social media marketing both in terms of cost-effectiveness and efficiency. The successful candidate will therefore be able to demonstrate a history of achieving increased sales from online and social media direct to the consumer. Broad media experience will also be helpful as the company employs broadcast, print, direct mail and telemarketing as methods of communication to its prospective customers.
The Director of Marketing will play an active role in understanding our customers, their needs and capabilities, and developing programs to speak appropriately to the various segments of our customer base. This is not the right job for you if all you seek to do is direct the work of others.
Our company is over twenty years old and is based in an attractive Gulf coast city in Southwest Florida.
Those interested in this opportunity should send:
- A cover letter
- A resume clearly detailing responsive achievements. You are encouraged to direct our attention to samples of your work.
- A 5-year salary history to illustrate your career progression to date.

We really look forward to hearing from you, but please note that applications that do not include all the requested items will not be considered. The company requires completion of a pre-hire criminal background check.
We offer a competitive salary, medical and disability insurance and PTO. But what we're really offering is the opportunity to advance the financial wellbeing of a lot of people, and to radically advance your craft in the process.
