Job Description

Title: TA AI Agent Development Intern 

 Reporting to VP, Global Onboarding & TA 

Location: Bulgaria, Hybrid 

Duration: 6 months – starting October 2025  

  

We’re looking for a motivated and curious AI Agent Development Intern to help us reimagine candidate closing and our global new hire onboarding by designing and building an AI-powered closing and onboarding assistant. This is an opportunity to blend creativity, technology, and employee experience to create a tool that will guide new Quickbase new hires through their first days, weeks, and months. 

 

What You’ll Do 

  • Innovate and automate candidate closing – offer, background checks etc.  

  • Design & Build: Develop an AI agent (chatbot/virtual assistant) that acts as a personalized guide for new hires. 

  • Content Integration: Work with People Operations, HR, and department leaders to identify onboarding materials, FAQs, and processes to integrate into the AI system. 

  • User Experience: Create conversational flows and knowledge structures to ensure the AI feels intuitive, friendly, and helpful. 

  • Enhanced Automation & Integrations: Explore new pathways for integration across our HR tech stack, utilizing API development & basic JavaScript/HTML for message automation. 

  • Testing & Feedback: Conduct pilots with recent hires, collect feedback, and iterate to improve performance and adoption. 

 

What We’re Looking For 

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, AI/ML, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field. 

  • Experience with AI/ML frameworks (e.g., OpenAI API, LangChain, Rasa, Dialogflow) or willingness to learn quickly.  

  • Experience with Python & JavaScript. 

  • Interest in user experience design and conversational AI. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills, creativity, and a bias for action. 

  • Self-motivated to work independently.
