Job Description

Fab is looking for a HR Administrator to provide administrative support to the People Team. This exceptionally organized individual will have a specific focus on employee record management; policy administration, benefits related processing, and VISA/Immigration administration.

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Document and update department procedures on an ongoing basis.
  • Draft letters for employee references, verifications, transfers, short term assignments and leaves of absence.
  • Copying and documenting all legally required documents:  documents required for I-9; scanned on first day available, uploaded into Trinet during I-9 verification process
  • Maintain all employee files, including new hire, referral forms, vacation requests, employee action forms, and termination paperwork
  • Respond to unemployment claims and manage relationship with outside vendor.
  • Track and coordinate global policy compliance administration
  • Coordinate termination processes and work with relevant departments to process terminations.
  • Manage relationship with Benefits vendor.
  • Work with relevant departments to coordinate administrative aspects of inter-company transfers.
  • Coordinate department responses to Legal and Audit requests.
  • Coordinate regular I-9 Compliance and FICA status audits.
  • Ensure employee records are scanned and filed
  • Schedule department meetings and process invoices.
  • Assist in processing of non-immigrant and immigrant visas for employees.
  • Work with attorneys, manager, recruiters and candidates/employees on visa issues.
  • Schedule exit interviews, and other appointments as needed
Skills/Requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 2 years of work experience.
  • Prior experience in HR field preferred.
  • Prior experience with visa processing preferred.
  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
